ChatGPT reworking from overtly Sycophant answers

A recent news article across the internet the last day or so has been around the topic of excessively sycophant answers, or in other words saying “that’s great for you” – about anything, even those that are ideas that are dangerous or stupid…

According to The Decoder, adjustments to this tone were made because it seems people can’t take challenges or especially personal feedback from a computer chatbot. Can people not take a criticism – or, just do not want to take a correction from a bucket of bits and algorithms?

I decided to compare this with Claude… as with ChatGPT, it says that a suggestion an intr idea… even if it really isn’t a good idea…
