In recent months the AI tools have made it much easier to make realistic looking AI junk. Since this has populated on Youtube and many other platforms it’s important to not be swayed by false programming…
Checklist of common identifiers
- A news channel that has a real news station’s title, like “LIVE NOW”, “MS NOW”, CNN or something similar, yet is not coming from that station‘s channel or site.
- Site or channel is new (within recent weeks or months).
- No name of an person or organization is listed in the about page. No one takes responsibility for the content.
- References to recent events and major events, and a narrative that is not shown on ANY other major news networks or any other sites other than one linking to same dubious article.
Here is one example of almost all of these in one channel:

Nothing new… new format
This sort of news item or tall story based on some real news item is not new. For example, see The flying Padre Pio – there are numerous articles and videos on this, yet I have yet to see one link to the original written diary or testimony of those who reportedly saw some apparition that made them turn back… If the video is on Youtube or elsewhere with comments you’ll almost always see comments such as “I cannot find any report tied to General Twining about this apparition.”…. Others note that having a general fly up in the air on such a risky mission because he didn’t believe them, is not standard practice and excess risk.
If such stories link to each other that is the same as having one hearsay source.
